Instructor's Bio: "Mark Ellingson"

    Is currently the Head Golf Professional and will be starting his 10th year in 2009. Mark has been a PGA Golf Professional for 16 years and has taught over 3,000 individual lessons and over 100 group classes. He has been an assistant golf professional and teaching professional at Island View G.C., Burl Oaks G.C., Wayzata C.C., Oak Ridge C.C., & Mendakota C.C. He has taught players from the beginning level to the college player to the aspiring golf professional. He has also caddied on the PGA tour where he videotaped, studied, and learned tremendously. He has personally been to and taken lessons from David Leadbetter's academy, Jim Mclean Golf Schools, & Hank Haney's Golf Ranch. He has studied under Mac O'Grady, Dr. Jim Suttie (2000 PGA Teacher of the year) and 6 year veteran of the PGA Tour Jon Chaffee. 
    Most importantly is that his students walk away with a better understanding of what will help them improve and enjoy the game more, all in a fun and enthusiastic atmosphere.

Instructor’s Bio:  Ted Vickerman

Ted is the head men’s and women’s golf coach at Augsburg College in Minneapolis.  Ted is a scratch golfer, played collegiately at Augsburg where he earned All-Conference honors.  He is a certified “GolfPsych” Coach and Mental Game Instructor.  He has learned the game of golf from the best and has had 5 years experience teaching and coaching golf.  For more information or to set up a lesson contact Ted at 612-382-9800 or email him at vickermt@augsburg.edu.

Junior Instruction and Camp Options:

The Junior (under age 17) instruction and camp options are listed below.  There are several options that can be used to tailor a plan for your needs.  Keep in mind when planning your options that kids really need a combination of instruction and playing experience.  Many of our juniors will sign up for the following:

  • One Junior Camp (3 sessions) - $75
  • Junior league (4 instructional sessions)  - $30 (does not include green fees)
  • Junior season pass - $275 (covers green fees for league and provides unlimited weekday golf)

This provides a great combination of instruction and play.  The junior season pass covers the cost green fees for the league and gives them unlimited play with you or their friends on weekdays outside of league play.  Your kids will really improve their golf game, get some great exercise and enjoy the great Minnesota summer weather.

   Tuesday – Thursday from 9am – 11:45am
  • Camp #1 June 8 – 10th
  • Camp #2 June 15-17th
  • Camp #3 June 22-24th

  • Camp #6 July 27-29th

  • The Junior league is designed to provide a combination of instruction with game experience.  The format for the league includes 4 instruction sessions prior to weeks 2-5 play.  
  • A limited Junior Pass can be purchased for $275.00. 
  • (Unlimited play 5 days a week, Monday - Friday)
